who: a bunhc of people.
what: meeting after event.
when: i don't know.
where: war room.

Stepping into the war room, Lorna was quite surprised that she was the first to arrive for the team's meeting. She took a quick look around before hurrying and taking a seat in her favourite chair, waiting for everyone else to arrive.

Betsy was in next. She'd hold the wall up with her shoulders, for now, she was too restless for sitting. She gave a nod to the green haired woman, and sighed deeply before she closed her eyes and let her head rest on the wall behind her.

Kurt had been down in the library with TJ when it was time for the meeting to begin, so it should come to no suprise when the two of them arrived in the war room in a puff of pink smoke and the smell of brimstone. "Afternoon...glad to see ve made it on time."

Logan stormed into the War Room, in rare and very grumpy form. He started pacing around, grumbling to himself and shooting suspicious looks around the room.

TJ still had half a cup of her Insanely Strong Coffee in hand, and went to sit down, unphased by the bamfing. "No luck in the library" she grumbled, propping her chin on her hands.

Alex came in behind Ororo, glancing around the room before taking a seat beside Lorna. He was surprised Scott wasn't in here already,
grilling people.

Warren's saunter was almost lazy. He had a towel draped around his neck, and he wore a tank top - all the better to show off his wings. He carried a botttle of water in one hand. "Sorry. I was in the Danger Room. Am I late?" He murmured as he took a seat.

Oh, like he cared. But Betsy kept her mouth shut, "Haven't started yet." Her arms crossed her chest, eyes still closed as she waited for the buzz of the room to get a little thicker.

Lorna acknowledged everyone's entrance with a look, but her mouth turned up in a smile when Alex sat beside her. "Where's Scott?" She asked him, looking around.

Kurt had finally taken a seat next to TJ as he glanced around the room. He himself was rather disapointed that they hadn't been able to find anything in the library but still, he hadn't lost hope. "Ja, good question..."

He shrugged. He would have said he was up crying in his room, but he's not that mean. So Alex just sat back in his chair, "Not his keeper."

Wolverine was still pacing. Grumbling. "Cyke better get here. They could be halfway to another galaxy." He slumped over, flexing his hands, and finally conceeded to sit on a chair.

"He'll come." A pacing Wolverine made Warren slightly nervous. He tapped his fingers lightly on the table, his wings fluttering ever so slightly.

"We don't need Scott to discuss what happened, Logan," Ororo said, as she sat beside him.

"Uncle Logan, would you please sit down? Your pacing is making me jumpy" or it could be the MacTaggart-style coffee she was sipping.

"I agree... we can easily fill him in when he does show up. I really don't vant to vait any longer then ve have to. So... I take it everyone here knows vhat happened, right or do a few of you need to be filled in?"

"I think we all get the basics of what happened," Lorna spoke for everyone, glancing around to see that what she had said was true.

Logan is seated, but still glowering. Now at the table. If looks could kill, the table would be a cold slab. Which it is, in essence.

"Where do we start?" Betsy asked, finally looking up. "We can't just, asked Gordon to, try again, and again, until we get them back."

Warren looked to Lorna. "Then let's find a way to find them and bring them home," he said in a semi-bored voice. "We've dealt with this sort of thing before...well. Sort of.:

"What about Ray?" Lorna spoke up, eyebrows raised. "And TJ?" She glanced over to the fuzzy blue girl, smiling slightly. "They might have some input."

"I'm sure Rachel's come up with dozens of ways to get them back, by now," Alex chimed in.

TJ shook her head "We were just thrown from one timeline to another" she said with a sigh "We didn't have much choice in the matter. Or control. I just kinda woke up in a desert in my underwear, and it went downhill from there. Rachel's a better bet than me."

Kurt glanced around but did not see Rachel at the moment and let out a sigh. "Ja, she might... but does anyone know vhere she is?"

Logan shrugged. "Haven't seen the kid in a few days." He was still staring a hole in the tabletop before him.

"What are our technological options?" Warren raised his eyebrows. "Maybe we could contact Forge or see if Beast can retrofit something we already have."

Kurt perked up. "Ja, Forge... vhy if anyone can think of something to get us to vhere they are, it vill be him. Our problem though is finding out vhere they are exactly.... till ve figure that out..."

OH...Hank. Is there. "Exaclty what Kurt's said. It's a risk not knowing where they are - we could turn into a second team of Exiles."

"I'd feel a bit safer if Rachel were doing it, and not a machine, personally," as much as Lorna loved metal, and all of that, Ray cared about the people sent back. "I think we should speak with her before we go making a careless machine." Or mistake.

TJ groaned. "No more Exiles, please. I don't think my brain can handle another world full of Antelope Men."

"Lorna's right," Betsy nodded. "While Hank is just, his genius self, a machine is still that. Things could go very wrong. Rachel has control over her powers for the most part."

"Yeah. Okay. Nothing else to do until we get Ray to help us," Logan growled. He continued to tap his fingers on the table, looking very miserable.

Warren raised his head, looking at the others in the room. "Meeting adjourned, then?"

"Does she still have those powers without the Phoenix Force though?" TJ asked, biting her lip.

"Don't ask me," Lorna put her hands up. "The Phoenix Force is a mystery to me."

"We'll have to hope," Ro shrugged.

TJ had seen far more of the Phoenix Force than she'd have liked to. She'd had to help kill Jean because of it on one Exiles mission. She sighed again, wondering if her dad and the X-Men in her own timeline had a meeting like this regarding her disapearance.

"Well then," a heavy sigh from miss ninja face. "We'll just have to wait until Miss Rachel is feeling up to facing the public again, now wont we?" She just, really wanted to get out of there before they started discussing what to do with gordon. Because, yea, not up for that today, thanks.
Kurt was not to keen on the ieda of relying on Rachel for the whole thing. The girl had been through enough as it is and now they were going to put all this on her shoulders alone? He was not happy about it at all. "You sure we should put all this on just one person?"

"Yes," was all that Lorna said.

"It looks like our only option, if we're not willing to attempt to build our own time portal." Warren kept casting somewhat worried glances at Logan, who looked as if he were going to *snikt* the table in front of him.

"While I know we all want to get them back a quick as possible, we have to make sure we do this safely. Which sometimes means taking a bit more time. So we'll explore Rachel as our first option, if that doesn't work," Hank shook his head once, "we'll move on to plan B."
Standing up, Lorna ran a hand through her hair, "Hank, if there's a disruptance in the magnetic fields anytime during the time travel..." She left the next part to people's imagination.

He nodded to Lorna, "I know."

"I don't know if I could control that big a disruption," her voice was considerably lower.

"Vhat if Rachel can't handle it though? Vhat is she gives out in ze middle of the trip? She could be just as easily hurt as Lorna can time traveling in a machine." He sighed. "Maybe if ve only have a few of us go, it vill make our odds better of everyone making it back safe, ja?"

"I won't be the only one hurt if there's such a huge disturbance, Kurt," Lorna told him. "Rachel has travelled through time before, and I'm sure she can do it again. If not, then... We'll have to rely on the machine."

"We have our two courses of action, then," Ororo stood from her seat. "We'll hold another meeting tomorrow, or when Rachel is ready..." Her arms crossed her chest. "Iff there's anything else?" She looked around the room.
There was no response. :O

TJ shook her head defeatedly. She was out of ideas.

Kurt just shook his head.

"Then the meeting is ajourned," she nodded with a quirk of her brow.
