It was time. Hank had finished working on the devices, working out all of the kinks he could. Rachel had agreed to try her best to find those who'd been sent back, as well. And now it was time to start trying. The X-teams were assembled in the war room, briefed on exactly what they were to do by both Scott and Ororo, and working teams were chosen.
"Obviously, we can't send everyone back - we only need a few," she glanced to Scott, then back to the teams. "Polaris, you obviously wont be going, because of complications with your mutation. Same for you, Shadowcat." A nod to both. "Phoenix, Havok, and Rogue, you will be the first team to go, hopefully under Rachel's guidence. If," not a word she wanted to use, but she knew it was true, "you get there, Phoenix should be able to psi-scan for the others."
"But we are also sending Nocturne, Archangel, and Nightcrawler," she hushed the confused mumbling. "I know we said we didn't want to risk too many, but Talia has much experience in time jumping, and Hank has added a scanning device to the PTM's (personal time machines, tm) to aid in locating our friends. We want to find them as quickly as possible. If you can't find them in the time you're in, return here, first, before jumping to a different time. This is obviously going to be difficult. We have no one to help manipulate our chances, so this is all based on trial and error." Storm sighed heavily as Hank handed each team member their PTM's. "Be as careful as you can, and good luck, X-Men."
