WHO; REMY! & ROGUE!
WHAT; Remy takes Rogue on vacay. Gives her somethin', and gets a lil news himself.
WHEN; Uhm, who knows.
WHERE; Newport Mississippi

REMY! It was a month after the time hopping, and Remy decided they needed a vacation. It'd beena while since they'd taken one anyway. He drove his Roguey down to Newport, he knew a guy there with a nice sized country house on the Mississippi that he was willing to let them stay at for however long. Remy sat on the porch of the country side home, looking out over the river as the sun started to set, boots tapping on the wood as he rocked back in the chair. He missed the south.

ROGUE! Wearing a dress for likely the second or third time ever in her life, Rogue had settled a matching hat over her brown and white hair, studying herself in the mirror for quite awhile before heading outside. The little sun dress was pink, yellow, orange and flowy, flowers painting the loose pattern. Watching the sunset a bit, she smiled before saying, "Hey..." Look! I'm wearing a dress. And it's PINK! :O

REMY! Glancing up from his fixed gaze, Remy exhaled a stream of smoke into the air before flicking the end of his cigarette away. He smiled a little when he saw she was wearing a dress, watching the skirt move in the slight breeze. "Chere," he held out his arm, inviting her to come sit in the Remy lap.

ROGUE! Heels clicking against the wood of the deck, she walked over in front of him before sitting back in his lap. She settled under the arm that was offered, snuggling right in. "Y'like it...?"

REMY! "I do," he said, tucking a kiss into her neck. "How you like it, here, babette?"

ROGUE! She hummed when he kissed her neck, watching the sunset. "Reminds me of home... Well, when Ah liked mah home," she shrugged. "Really did miss th'South."

REMY! "Me too," he nodded, resting his head on her shoulder as his free hand rubbed her leg some. "View's nice, ain't it?"

ROGUE! Rogue nodded, "It's gorgeous... Can't even believe y'all found this place." She unthinkingly let her hands settle on her stomach, which was a little bit larger than her usual slim figure.

REMY! Remy hadn't really noticed her tummy or anything, he'd been too busy trying to keep her out of trouble :p "Friend o'mine owns it. Thinkin' 'bout sellin' it." He pushed at her a lil bit to stand up.

ROGUE! Keep her out of trouble?! Rogue stood at his pushing, looking back at him with a slight smile. "Yeah? That's a shame...'

REMY! He didn't really say anything to that, standing and taking her hand, walking her out to the small dock at the side of the house. "C'mon y'river rat."

ROGUE! "Where we goin'?" She followed him down, though, stumbling a bit over nothing, really. "Down t'the river?"

REMY! "Mmmhm," he kept walking, not too fast, still holdin her hand. "Got a nice lil boat back here."

ROGUE! "We goin' for a ride?" She asked.

REMY! "I guess," they arrived at the dock, and there was an average sized dinghy tied up to it.

ROGUE! Nata loves the word dinghy. Giving his hand a squeeze, Rogue looked left and right down the river when they got onto the dock. "Looks jus'like my back yard."

REMY! He smiled, pulling at her a little bit, his hand settling on her hip before he nodded toward the boat, "Get on in, babette."

ROGUE! She stole a quick kiss to his cheek before kneeling and stepping into the boat, one foot at a time, grabbing and holding his hand for support. Woo! She made it in without tipping it over.

REMY! He was in right behind her, sitting quickly after he untied the boat, and picked up the ores. "M'glad you came wit me down here, Anna."

ROGUE! "Ah wanted to," she assured him, folding her hands in her lap. She was being oddly quiet...

REMY! Rowing out a little, he'd let the current carry them every so often to rest his arms. He was quiet, too, not really sure how to go about what he wanted to do, but watching her would do for now. "Y'look beautiful this evenin', chere." Cause she diiid.

ROGUE! She'd been looking around when Remy had spoken up, and she turned her eyes back to his with a small smile. "Thanks... Ah thought that while we were down here, may as well wear somethin' that justifies that... Southern Belle name y'all gave me." And now she's rambling, so she shut her mouth.

REMY! "Well, y'are a Southern Belle," he assured her as he looked around to make sure he was still going the right way.

ROGUE! "Only sometimes," she shrugged a bit, glancing away again. "We goin' anywhere particular?"

REMY! "Always," he said as he started to turn the boat some. "Mmmhm. Just a lil while longer." A smile.

ROGUE! She turned to look where they were going, peering about with a smile. She's curious, okay? "Wheeere?"

REMY! Red on black just looked at her like, be patient, damn.

ROGUE! Rogue pouted back at him, fixing her dress a bit. "Ah hate dresses..."

REMY! "Y'look good anyhow."

ROGUE! "S'pose so," she was still fiddling with it as she looked around again.

REMY! He leaned forward some, not much, to kiss her nose, and sat back.

ROGUE! Scrunching up her nose, she pouted her lips a bit before smiling. "Y'all're bein' so quiet."

REMY! He waaas, and that's so weird. Oh look, we're here. He turned the boat a lil more, dragging one ore as the boat came right alongside the new dock. Pulling the ores in, he tied the boat then got out of the boat, turning, to reach fo his woman.

ROGUE! She took his offered help and climbed out, looking around a bit.

REMY! It was a boggy park that he'd brought her to, full of curly willows and other swampy plants. He took her hand again as he started to walk a bit. "Why you so quiet?"

ROGUE! "'Cause you ain't talkin'," she followed him, still just glancing about. "S'gorgeous, here. God, Ah love Mississippi..."

REMY! "Well I ain't talkin' 'cause you ain't, and it's nice out, and, Iunno," he shrugged some, as he stopped to lean on the docks rail, studying their tangled fingers.

ROGUE! "Hmmm?" She watched his eyes, tipping her head to the side a bit. Something was wrong, or at least a little bit weird, and she could just see the gears in his head moving. "What's up, sug?"

REMY! "Hmm?" He looked up to her and kissed her hand, "Nothin'," he smiled. "Why? Somethin' up wit you?"

ROGUE! "Nah, Ah'm fine," she shrugged a bit. "Y'all're just bein' too quiet..."

REMY! "Well y'all's bein' quiet, too," he pointed out, forehead resting on her tummy.

ROGUE! Putting her free hand on the back of his head, Rogue smoothed his hair. "Remy... What's wrong?" She knew that there was something wrong.

REMY! "Nothin'," he looked back up to her, "s'jus nice bein' t'getha, alone, for once."

ROGUE! "It is," she nodded, still running her hands through his hair. She smiled down at him. "Real nice."

REMY! He smiled at her fingers in his hair, "I been thinking...maybe we could take a lil longer vacation..."

ROGUE! "Longer vacation?" She furrowed her eyebrows, shrugging. "Would we be allowed t'stay away f'that?" Rogue and her allowingness. Gosh.

REMY! "I'on't really care," he chuckled some. "Seems like I been doin' that X-Men thang erryday since Ro brought be up there." Let's not talk about Antartica, plz. "Liesure ain't never been a familiar word."

ROGUE! "Ah know, but Ah also know th'world and th'evil that we're tryin' t'fight," on a personal basis, for a lot of it. "We deserve a break, Remy, Ah know that..." Is it really the time, especially when she won't really be able to help them in a bit?

REMY! "I didn't meant forever, chere..."

ROGUE! She nodded, looking away a bit, "What kinda vacation, sugah?"

REMY! "A quite one. Slow. Down here."

ROGUE! A smile lighted her features, "Ah'd like that." Her hands resumed running through his hair.

REMY! He kissed her lil tummy while digging around in his pocket and pulling a small box out. Flipping it open, he pulled his head back some, "Want y't'have this, too."

ROGUE! Eyes wide as they took in the little box and the ring inside, one hand lifted to setlle against her lips while the other ran along the ring. "Remy, it's beautiful..." She really didn't know what else to say or do.

REMY! "S'not an engatement ring or nothin'...but, you know, one o'them promise rings. Like, a pre-engaement ring, really." He explained awkwardly, rubbing at his neck, not really looking at her.

ROGUE! Rogue just nodded, looking up at him. Her smile stretched from ear to ear, pearly whites very much on display. "Remy... Ah'm so... Wow," she offered her hand, because he should really put it on. "Of course Ah'll accept it..."

REMY! He took the lil gold and silver ring out and slipped it on her finger, then kissed her hand, "M'glad."

ROGUE! She bent at her waist a little to give him a proper kiss, settling a hand along the side of his face. This was a better time than any, right? She waited a moment before saying, "Ah got somethin' t'tell ya, too, Sugah. Somethin' Ah shoulda said a long time ago..."

REMY! "Hmm?" He looked up at her as she stood striaght, both his hands settling on her waist now.

ROGUE! Looking down at her stomach, she settled her hands over it and smiled wide. "Ah was nervous and afraid t'tell ya, but now that... Well," she shrugged, looking back up at him. "Ah'm pregnant, Remy..." Say something, please.

REMY! He just, blinked.

ROGUE! And so she just eyedarted, looking a bit guilty. "Say somethin'..."

REMY! "I...," blink. "Mon Dieu..." prolly not what she wanted to hear, but oh well. he brought his hands down, balancing himself so he wouldn't fall back in the water. "You sure?" Shut up, remy.

ROGUE! At the 'mon dieu', Rogue backed up a few steps. She turned a bit, towards the water, and nodded. He was supposed to be happy, not asking isf she was sure! "Ah'm sure..."

REMY! He cringed at her walked away, pushing himself up to follow behind her. He slid his arms around her waist, chin tucked into her neck, "Awright."

ROGUE! She turned her head towards his a little, shrugging some. "It's been two months since Ah found out..."

REMY! "Why'idn't you tell me sooner, Babette. You shouldn'ta been on that mission."

ROGUE! She shook her head, "Ah thought that y'might be mad, or... Somethin', Idunno." Another shrug, "Ah wanted t'be there and help."

REMY! He shook his head, "I love ya, Anna. I couldn't be mad about somethin' like this," his hand drifted to her tummy.

ROGUE! "Y'all didn't really wanna baby," she put her hands over his. "Ah didn't wanna worry ya..."

REMY! "Never said I did or didn't."

ROGUE! "Di'n't seem like ya did..." She moved his hands a bit, directing them to where the baby really was. "Idunno... Ah was just nervous."
REMY! After a minute or two of silence and pondering, he finally spoke again, "I guess we jus'had a lil too much fun after th'weddin', huh?" He grinned a little, kissing her neck some.

ROGUE! Rogue laughed, looking at him with her own grin. "Mmm, we did, didn't we?"

REMY! "You gonna be a good momma," he nodded.

ROGUE! "And y'all an even greater daddy," she agreed, shutting her eyes.

REMY! "Iunno 'bout that."

ROGUE! "'Course y'are," she turned in his arms a bit.

REMY! "Iunno, prolly teach'er t'pick a lock 'fore she can tie'er shoes."

ROGUE! "An important life skill," she said quietly, grinning.

REMY! "Shu'up," he kissed her temple, squeezing at her belly some.

ROGUE! "It is," she shut her eyes at the kiss to her temple, watching the now-dark sky for a moment. "It got dark fast... Should we go back t'the house?"

REMY! He nodded, taking her hand again. "Y'know...I was thinkin' 'bout buyin' it."

ROGUE! "What? Th'house?" She was leading him back to the boat. "It's beautiful, but when'd we come here...?"

REMY! "Mmmhm," he let hismelf be led. "Vacation, and, well...since you all pregnant and stuff..."

ROGUE! "Hmmm?" She looked at him, giving is hand a squeeze before climbing into the boat.

REMY! "Well, you know," he got in after she'd done so safely, untiing the dinghy and picking up the ores again. "Maybe we could move down here."

ROGUE! She just looked at him. "We can't just leave the X-men..."

REMY! "Why not?" He asked, rowing back to where they'd come from.

ROGUE! "'Cause we got obligations up there... And, and, it's m'home..."

REMY! "We can be backup members," he suggested. "Wouldn't it be nice t'stay down here? Don't y'wanna make a home wit me?"

ROGUE! "Of course Ah do," she nodded, hands moving back to rest on her stomach. "It's just..." Idunno.

REMY! "What, babette?" He rowed a little more.

ROGUE! "S'the first home where Ah ever really felt like Ah belonged," she shrugged, looking away a bit.

REMY! "An'we can make a home for us, Anna. You'd belong there, too."

ROGUE! She shrugged, nodding, "Yeah... Ah s'pose."

REMY! He frowned some before sighing, fixing his gaze on some distant tree that looked like the one by the house.

ROGUE! "Ah mean... Of course Ah wanna make a new home with you, with our baby," she looked down a bit. "We just can't... Leave th'X-men like that."

REMY! "You been willin' t'run away with me b'fore. I'm not even askin' you to run away this time." He didn't really look at her.

ROGUE! "When we were gonna run away b'fore, it wasn't for... For as long as this'll be," she would have walked away if they weren't in a boat. "This is kinda permanent, baby..."

REMY! "I'm not askin' you t'leave th'Xmen, Anna. I jus'. If we gonna have this baby, I wanna give it what we didn't really have. Where we should have had it."

ROGUE! She nodded, looking away. "Yer right." Rogue giving in? Wow.

REMY! He was shocked himself. "Th'South's a great place t'grow up, babette. If they need us, they can call. But I'un want nothin' happenin' t'you. Our chirrin (ahaha remy's country ass) should have both they pay'ents."

ROGUE! Rogue looked up at him and offered a half-smile, nodding again. "Ah'm just a lil attached, Ah guess..." Wait, childdren? Woow. :D "Sure y'all can take me moody, pregnant, an' fat on yer own?" It'll be scurreh.

REMY! "Y'wont be fat. Jus' pregnant." He wouldn't comment on the moody thing, because here they were, at home. Tied up the boat, and got out, again, extending his hand for her.

ROGUE! Mumbling a thanks, she got out and shook her head. "Ah'm gettin' bigger, already. Ah though it took 'till the third month, but... Ah'm a bit wider round the middle." And my boobs are swelling.

REMY! He hadn't noticed, yet. 'Y'got a baby in'y'Roguey. Y'sposed t'get bigger," he smiled, walking her back to the house.

ROGUE! "S'just weird..." She's picky about her body, so she knew right away. "Ain't really been bigger than how y'all knew me." She's rambling because she's still a bit freaked out.

REMY! "I'on't really care how big y'are."

ROGUE! A shrug. "S'pose so," she took off her hat when they got to the porch, and hung it on the handrail.

REMY! "What'cha want f'dinner," he opened the screen door, turning the light on. They hadn't just talked about her being pregnant, and him wanting them to move away, nope.

ROGUE! "Somethin' spicy. An' pickles," she said, following him inside. They were the image of a perfect family, now weren't they?

And so...

Our fearless heros have done thier time jumping and searching through the past and the future. It took weeks, but it was done. They found their time trapped friends, along with a new arrival, and some old "friends" in the past, and brought them home with little damage to the time stream.

Now, they must work on the young mutant who sent them there. After this even, will their feelings change on what to do with him? Do they administer the Hope cure? Or do they continue to teach him?

The Search [Open to Warren and TJ]

After the briefing with Ororo, Kurt quickly changed into his uniform and proceeded to meet with the others just outside in the main corridor, under the stairs. He wasn't sure what time they would be going to... but just hoped that the first place they go to was the right one. Of course the chances of that happening were very slim for there was a number of endless possibilities.

As he waited for TJ and Warren to show up, he glanced down to the PTM... glancing at the buttons. Even though they were shown how to use it correctly... it still confused him quite a bit. How could such a small thing transport them through time? Letting out a nervous sigh, he glanced up to the clock on the wall wishing that TJ and Warren would hurry up. The sooner they were able to find their friends and bring them back... the better.

WHO: Jean and Emma
WHAT: A nice talk and playing with baby Meg
WHEN: In the past
WHERE: The War Room

Emma: Emma had been given use of the computer system in the war room for research purposes, once she was able to prove that she was indeed an X-Man and she wouldn't use the information for malicious purposes. She was researching time travel methods in an attempt to find a way home. Someone had been kind. They had lent Emma a loose sweater and a pair of tan trousers - far from her usual attire, but there wasn't that much in the way of high fashion around the mansion. Next to her, in a small baby buggy the likes of which our own era rarely sees, her daughter was awake and staring with great amazement at the lights on the ceiling.

Jean: And Jean had been informed of her whereabouts by her younger counterpart, who was not entirely sure about Emma's conversion. "Find anything?" She questioned, coming into war room. Oh look, baby.

Emma: "I found many things. Whether or not any of them are useful is very arguable." Emma sighed heavily and turned to look at Jean. She smiled, however, when she saw Jean looking down at her daughter. Because anyone that gave baby attention certainly was good on her list. "How are you?" She rubbed the little tummy, and the baby drooled.

Jean: "I'm alright," she shrugged. "They're a little more at ease with me." Because they knew her. "But I really just want to go home."

Emma: "As do I." Emma scooted her chair closer to the buggy and slipped her finger into the tiny hand. "I've been discrete about who Meg's father is. I don't want to cause more issues in the timestream than the subscription we've dropped on it."

Jean: "Probably a good idea,' Jean nodded, wandering a bit closer and cooing to the little baby. Jean wants one.

Emma: Meg's eyes shifted, looking up at Jean. She made a strange face, her legs kicking once. Emma reached down and smoothed the dark tufts of hair. "Keep that up. She likes it." A small smile. "You can hold her if you want."

Jean: "Can I?" Well that was awfully nice of you Emma. She reached down, letting Meg grab onto her fingers, and cooing a bit more.

Emma: "You helped deliver her. Go on." Emma watched fondly as her daughter grabbed onto the offered fingers, legs kicking again. Red hair. Ooh.

Jean: Apparently babies just like red hair. Jean carefully picked Meg up, supporting her head with one hand. "Hello there, litle lady."

Emma: "Mm, she is, isn't she? And a smart one, too. Not terribly obtrusive. She rarely cries. Well, of course she has to have her feedings, but that's to be expected." Emma settled back in her chair and smoothed her hands over her belly, which still wasn't exacly flat. She had some weight to lose.

Jean: "She takes after her daddy," Jean answered. studying her. I mean, think about it...already not showing emotions.

Emma: "Mmm, she's got his nose and his chin." Emma missed the point of the comment. "She does look like pictures of me at that age." Something shifted in her mood, and she murmured quietly, "She has her parents' X-Gene, as well."

Jean: "Which isn't necessarily a bad thing," Jean answered, looking up at her. Look where she'll be growing up Emma.

Emma: "I had hoped...Well." Emma pushed a lock of hair out of her face. "I'm being silly. Silly hormones, making a ninny of me." She smoothed out a wrinkle on her trousers.

Jean: "You're a mother, Emma. You just want what's best for your child." Normal reaction. Jean winced as a lock of hair managed to find it's way into Meg's fist.

Emma: "I wonder what her mutation will be, whether she'll take after Scott or I or both of us or neither at all." Emma chuckled as she turned back to her terminal, saving and closing each of her files. "Do you see yourself having children with Logan?" Hello.;

Jean: Yes. Hello. Cough. "I'm...not sure," she answered. "Not that I wouldn't like to, but, we hadn't exactly gotten to that point." Still in honeymoon phase, so to speak.

Emma: Emma nodded her head, still finishing closing programs and such. "You two have been fond of one another for quite a long time. I'm not saying that every woman in the world should have a child with the man she loves. Heaven knows I would have never imagined that I would have made a decent mother. I'm surprised I haven't broken Meg already. Though, every parent breaks their child. It's a matter of time." There was something oddly tight in her voice.

Jean: "I just don't know how Logan feels about it," she explained. "And every parent makes mistakes. We just don't repeat the ones our parents did." There were a few things Jean wouldn't do that her mother had done.

Emma: "My parents are hideous people," Emma confessed, still without looking at Jean. "Self absorbed and distant. As I have become. Children inevitably mirror their parents." She winced. "Poor lamb."

Jean: "Emma," Jean said. Look at her for goodness' sake. "You're not your parents."

Emma: Emma nodded her head. She looked up at Jean, at last, with a small smile. "And we have the chance to turn things around, don't we? Be better with our children."

Jean: "Absolutely," Jean agreed. "Just look at what the future brings." She bounced Meg lightly.

Emma: Meg stuck her fist in her mouth, then seemed astonished that it was there. Emma leaned forward, petting her daughter's head. "Me, a mother. The world has gone absolutely mad."

Jean: "You'll be a wonderful mother," Jean answered, handing baby back to mommy. "And you've got a whole school that wants to help."

Emma: Emma appeared subtly pleased at this appraisal. She nestled her daughter's head against her cheek. "Provided that we return to the right time. I have an idea but I'm not sure if it can be done."

Jean: "What are you thinking?" Really, the sooner they got back, the better.

Emma: "We have to create a disruption in the timestream. A controlled disruption, which will take knowledge of the timestream and the power to do it." Emma let out a light sigh. "This is the only time in the time that I have known you that I wish you had the Phoenix Force at your disposal."

Jean: Jean nodded. "It would make things easier." If only for a few moments. "We should talk this over with everyone else."

Emma: A nod. "I hate to tempt great power. No...I don't. Which can make me a great fool, at times."

Jean: A half smile. "You're anything but a fool." Very shrewd at times.
You make me feel like a natural woman... [1 AM.]

Emma had dozed briefly after the birth of her daughter. For maybe an hour or so. Then she woke up, ravenously hungry and wanting her baby. At that moment.

The cravings hadn't faded. She wanted meat. Someone found her a cold steak and lukewarm mashed potatoes, and she ate them all. And washed it down with a glass of milk and a cup of tea. Once her hunger had been sated, she asked for her daughter. Demanded, more like it. And once she had the baby in her arms, the rest of the world faded away. For a moment.

She forgot that she was stuck in the past. She forgot that the baby's father was on the other side of the universe. She forgot that she was supposed to be hard and cold and cruel. She only wanted to look at the little red face. The chubby hands. Emma removed the small knit cap on the baby's head and ran her fingers through the fine, dark hair there. Unwrapping the yellow blanket, she unfastened the baby's one-piece and scrutinized every inch of her daughter. Emma watched her breathe. Looked up at her face, and saw that a set of unfocused blue eyes were staring at her with a great deal of curiosity.

Emma's eyes began to glow, and she established a quiet mental connection with the baby. You're perfect. Perfect, my darling. Beautiful. Mine., she whispered silently, her lips turning up in a small smile. Won't you wrap your father around your finger, just as I have done? She redressed the baby, listening to the quiet emotions radiating from her daughter's mind. Curiosity. Exhaustion. Peace. But a rising discomfort. A new feeling. The baby tensed, little hands balling into fists.

Emma understood. Unbuttoning her blouse, she tried to adjust the baby in her arms, trying to see that she was more comfortable. With one hand, she allowed instinct to guide her, encouraging the small head to touch one of her breasts. The baby turned her head. Opened her small mouth, searching. Where was it? There. Emma closed her eyes and swallowed. Hard. Her eyes burned with tears that she would not allow to come.

It all felt so awkward and new and she just couldn't collect the thoughts in her head. She picked up a blanket and hid the baby and her open shirt. Draped it over her shoulder. Leaning back against the pillows, she allowed her mind to wander. To wonder how they were going to return home.

[Jean.]

It was time. Hank had finished working on the devices, working out all of the kinks he could. Rachel had agreed to try her best to find those who'd been sent back, as well. And now it was time to start trying. The X-teams were assembled in the war room, briefed on exactly what they were to do by both Scott and Ororo, and working teams were chosen.

"Obviously, we can't send everyone back - we only need a few," she glanced to Scott, then back to the teams. "Polaris, you obviously wont be going, because of complications with your mutation. Same for you, Shadowcat." A nod to both. "Phoenix, Havok, and Rogue, you will be the first team to go, hopefully under Rachel's guidence. If," not a word she wanted to use, but she knew it was true, "you get there, Phoenix should be able to psi-scan for the others."

"But we are also sending Nocturne, Archangel, and Nightcrawler," she hushed the confused mumbling. "I know we said we didn't want to risk too many, but Talia has much experience in time jumping, and Hank has added a scanning device to the PTM's (personal time machines, tm) to aid in locating our friends. We want to find them as quickly as possible. If you can't find them in the time you're in, return here, first, before jumping to a different time. This is obviously going to be difficult. We have no one to help manipulate our chances, so this is all based on trial and error." Storm sighed heavily as Hank handed each team member their PTM's. "Be as careful as you can, and good luck, X-Men."

The professor and the others were waiting in the medical lab of the old mansion, for their "guests." It was probably a little amusing to see, for those who hadn't seen it before that is, or who didn't remember. While at the time, they still, like usual, had the most advanced equipment to aid in medical situations - their most advanced in this time, was the hospital standard in 2005.

A shaven and prepared Henry McCoy, along with a young Jean Grey awaited the laboring woman and those helping her, while Professor Xavier, Cyclops, Angel and Iceman would "deal" with the rest of them in his office.

sorry this is going so slow. i've been super busy with stuff, and ish. we're doing this by thread because group chats, and waiting for everyone to be on, is stupid, and we hate it. because someone always has to leave in 45 mins. so i'm going to put 3 or 4 more threads up. PLEASE be active within them. i'll do that when i get to work. thank you.

They'd somehow made it to Westchester, and now they stood before the gates of Xavier's mansion. "Wow," Rahne blinked, hands gripping the bars. "Looks jus'like it did when I ferst came here," her eyes were a bit wide as she looked back to the others. "Are they home?" She asked mostly Jean and Emma. "We can't just break in, can we?" That'd be so weird.

Narrative - plan b

While they would try their best with Rachel to see what they could do to retrieve the others, Hank had to start on plan B, just incase it was needed. Forge wasn't available to help him on site, but he'd taken the time to get in contact with the mechanical genius for a few suggestions. With that, Hank went to work on one of the many time jumping bands that had been left behind. He wanted to work out any thing that might interfere with their safe return - like Lorna said, a magnetic disturbance could screw everything up. It would take a day or two for him to get everything straight - he'd make a point of asking Kitty for her help.

WHO; RAY! & ALEX!
WHAT; Uncle alex to the rescue? Only not.
WHEN; After the meeting.
WHERE; Ray's room.

RAY! Rachel's been rather quiet the past few days. She's still keeping to herself, and trying to work through some issues in the mansion and whatnot. When news came of the missing X-Men, her mom amongst them, naturally she's upset. God, it's like nothing good has come from life at all, lately. Sigh. Rachel's resting with her face imbedded in her pillow.

ALEX! "Ray?" Alex knocked on her door, just coming from the group meeting, "Rachel, it Alex, you in there?" He knew she had to be upset, and there couldn't be many people she wanted to talk to - but he thought he'd take a shot anyway.

RAY! There's an audible sigh, and Rachel's mind is doing what her eyes don't feel like doing. She scans the room, and using Alex's mind as a template, opens her door telekinetically. That's her way of saying you can come in, but noone else better.

ALEX! A little sigh of his own before he peeked in, frowning a bit as he came in, then closed the door behind him. "Hey," he came in a little closer, "how ya doin?" Dumb question, Alex.

RAY! Took the words right outta her mouth. "That's a stupid question to ask.." If it was anyone else, she might've been real ill. But she knows he's aware of this. So he shouldn't take any offense to it. "No luck contacting Mom.." She's given herself some horrible headaches from straining so hard. You'd think the damn Phoenix Force would know how to get ahold of it's former host.

ALEX! "We haven't had any luck, either," his hands stuffed in his pockets, standing by her bedside. "Can I sit?"

RAY! "Yeah.." Rachel's voice is a little louder than usual, since it's so muffled under the pillow. Finally, she sits up, wiping her eyes. "How come there's never any good in our lives anymore?"

ALEX! He sat, looking over when she sat up, "There's plenty," he said, hands resting on his legs, "just, never when we want it to be there. Funny thing, actually," only not.

RAY! "Plus I've been acting like a kid the past couple of months.." Even if things did bother her, she, of all people, should've known better how to handle situations of the sort.

ALEX! "You've got the right," sort of. "It's not an easy thing, I understand. But, we're gonna need you to be focused, you know?"

RAY! "Is that what you came to see me for?" Rachel's already considered the whole time travel thing. In fact, she's sure she can pull it off. Problem is, can her body handle the strain of time travel? Doesn't matter, as long as she can bring the others home. Even Emma. "I'm sure we're can try using me as an anchor to get them back."

ALEX! "And to see how you were doing," Alex's hand came to rest on her shoulder. Because, honestly, he didn't think Scott had come to see her yet.

RAY! Dad was a busy man. Probably more concerned with figuring out ways to get Emma back than making sure his little girl's okay. Because Scott assumes Rachel'll get her head straight. "I'll be fine, Alex." She wipes her eyes again, and smiles. Good ole uncle Alex.

ALEX! "We'll get Jean and everyone back," he nodded. "I mean, don't we always? No matter how ridiculous the plans, one of them always seems to work."

RAY! "So far." Rachel nods her head. "I'm guessing Hank or Forge have come up with some kinda silly machine, too?" Rachel's not a fan of machinery, really. Too many bad experiences in her past lives.

ALEX! "I think Hank's tinkering with some stuff. He's talked to Forge about it," nod. "That's plan b, though. You're plan A. If you're up for it, and able to..." because that was the main problem. *Could* she do it?

RAY! "Even if I couldn't do it, the Phoenix Force can." Rachel nods rather solemnly. That's bothering her a bit, in the back of her mind. She's worked hard to control it, but what if things get out of control? It's never happened before to her, but she's not as powerful as her mom, and look what happened there. "You have to promise me one thing, however.. If I do it.."

ALEX! He looked to her, brow raised quickly as he shook his head absently, "OH, yea, sure anything. What is it?"

RAY! "If things should get bad.. If the Phoenix Force becomes too much.. All of you will do the right thing and end it quickly." Rachel couldn't handle watching that thing destroy lives and hurt the people she loves. "I mean it.. I never want to have to deal with that.. Ever."

ALEX! Alex just looked at her a moment, then sighed with a nod of his head, "If that's what you want."

RAY! "It's not that I want it, it's that I don't think any of us can deal with that during this crisis we're already dealing with." Rachel doesn't want to leave her family again. She doesn't want to die.

ALEX! His gaze moved to the floor as he continued to nod, "I got it." Now wasn't the time to tell her she was her fathers daughter, was it? Hm.

RAY! Rachel simply nodded. It made her sad all over again, but it was for a good cause. "So.. When do we do this?"

ALEX! "When you're ready," he said simply.

This area used to be part o'my beat when I was with the NYPD" Sean said, brusing any remaining crud off his clothing from landing in the alley earlier. "I know the area pretty well."

Emma glanced around her, at the cars going by, at the buildings, at the various shows being advertised on massive marquees. "I used to come here to see plays," she murmured quietly.

"Since you know the area, Sean," Jean started, "Do you have any idea of when it might be?" Areas changed over the years. Maybe he could pinpoint this.

Rahne looked back at Sean expectanly, because she sure as hell had no clue what was going on.

X was just standing around, and said, "I wouldn't know anything.... Might not have even been alive at that time.." She said, and it dawned on her.. What if she wasn't born yet? Could she stop the creation? No... No. She had a good life, she wasn't about to give it up.

He looked around, noting some movie posters and taking in the ambient sounds of the city- music, televisions on too loud, things like that. "I'd say either late seventies, early '80s" he concluded. "We should find a news stand."

Emma looked longingly at a bench, but kept her feet. "I had just left home," she said in a soft voice. "I was in Boston, trying to make my way..." She caught herself, and said, x "We should return to the mansion. We'll have more options at our disposal."

who: a bunhc of people.
what: meeting after event.
when: i don't know.
where: war room.

Stepping into the war room, Lorna was quite surprised that she was the first to arrive for the team's meeting. She took a quick look around before hurrying and taking a seat in her favourite chair, waiting for everyone else to arrive.

Betsy was in next. She'd hold the wall up with her shoulders, for now, she was too restless for sitting. She gave a nod to the green haired woman, and sighed deeply before she closed her eyes and let her head rest on the wall behind her.

Kurt had been down in the library with TJ when it was time for the meeting to begin, so it should come to no suprise when the two of them arrived in the war room in a puff of pink smoke and the smell of brimstone. "Afternoon...glad to see ve made it on time."

Logan stormed into the War Room, in rare and very grumpy form. He started pacing around, grumbling to himself and shooting suspicious looks around the room.

TJ still had half a cup of her Insanely Strong Coffee in hand, and went to sit down, unphased by the bamfing. "No luck in the library" she grumbled, propping her chin on her hands.

Alex came in behind Ororo, glancing around the room before taking a seat beside Lorna. He was surprised Scott wasn't in here already,
grilling people.

Warren's saunter was almost lazy. He had a towel draped around his neck, and he wore a tank top - all the better to show off his wings. He carried a botttle of water in one hand. "Sorry. I was in the Danger Room. Am I late?" He murmured as he took a seat.

Oh, like he cared. But Betsy kept her mouth shut, "Haven't started yet." Her arms crossed her chest, eyes still closed as she waited for the buzz of the room to get a little thicker.

Lorna acknowledged everyone's entrance with a look, but her mouth turned up in a smile when Alex sat beside her. "Where's Scott?" She asked him, looking around.

Kurt had finally taken a seat next to TJ as he glanced around the room. He himself was rather disapointed that they hadn't been able to find anything in the library but still, he hadn't lost hope. "Ja, good question..."

He shrugged. He would have said he was up crying in his room, but he's not that mean. So Alex just sat back in his chair, "Not his keeper."

Wolverine was still pacing. Grumbling. "Cyke better get here. They could be halfway to another galaxy." He slumped over, flexing his hands, and finally conceeded to sit on a chair.

"He'll come." A pacing Wolverine made Warren slightly nervous. He tapped his fingers lightly on the table, his wings fluttering ever so slightly.

"We don't need Scott to discuss what happened, Logan," Ororo said, as she sat beside him.

"Uncle Logan, would you please sit down? Your pacing is making me jumpy" or it could be the MacTaggart-style coffee she was sipping.

"I agree... we can easily fill him in when he does show up. I really don't vant to vait any longer then ve have to. So... I take it everyone here knows vhat happened, right or do a few of you need to be filled in?"

"I think we all get the basics of what happened," Lorna spoke for everyone, glancing around to see that what she had said was true.

Logan is seated, but still glowering. Now at the table. If looks could kill, the table would be a cold slab. Which it is, in essence.

"Where do we start?" Betsy asked, finally looking up. "We can't just, asked Gordon to, try again, and again, until we get them back."

Warren looked to Lorna. "Then let's find a way to find them and bring them home," he said in a semi-bored voice. "We've dealt with this sort of thing before...well. Sort of.:

"What about Ray?" Lorna spoke up, eyebrows raised. "And TJ?" She glanced over to the fuzzy blue girl, smiling slightly. "They might have some input."

"I'm sure Rachel's come up with dozens of ways to get them back, by now," Alex chimed in.

TJ shook her head "We were just thrown from one timeline to another" she said with a sigh "We didn't have much choice in the matter. Or control. I just kinda woke up in a desert in my underwear, and it went downhill from there. Rachel's a better bet than me."

Kurt glanced around but did not see Rachel at the moment and let out a sigh. "Ja, she might... but does anyone know vhere she is?"

Logan shrugged. "Haven't seen the kid in a few days." He was still staring a hole in the tabletop before him.

"What are our technological options?" Warren raised his eyebrows. "Maybe we could contact Forge or see if Beast can retrofit something we already have."

Kurt perked up. "Ja, Forge... vhy if anyone can think of something to get us to vhere they are, it vill be him. Our problem though is finding out vhere they are exactly.... till ve figure that out..."

OH...Hank. Is there. "Exaclty what Kurt's said. It's a risk not knowing where they are - we could turn into a second team of Exiles."

"I'd feel a bit safer if Rachel were doing it, and not a machine, personally," as much as Lorna loved metal, and all of that, Ray cared about the people sent back. "I think we should speak with her before we go making a careless machine." Or mistake.

TJ groaned. "No more Exiles, please. I don't think my brain can handle another world full of Antelope Men."

"Lorna's right," Betsy nodded. "While Hank is just, his genius self, a machine is still that. Things could go very wrong. Rachel has control over her powers for the most part."

"Yeah. Okay. Nothing else to do until we get Ray to help us," Logan growled. He continued to tap his fingers on the table, looking very miserable.

Warren raised his head, looking at the others in the room. "Meeting adjourned, then?"

"Does she still have those powers without the Phoenix Force though?" TJ asked, biting her lip.

"Don't ask me," Lorna put her hands up. "The Phoenix Force is a mystery to me."

"We'll have to hope," Ro shrugged.

TJ had seen far more of the Phoenix Force than she'd have liked to. She'd had to help kill Jean because of it on one Exiles mission. She sighed again, wondering if her dad and the X-Men in her own timeline had a meeting like this regarding her disapearance.

"Well then," a heavy sigh from miss ninja face. "We'll just have to wait until Miss Rachel is feeling up to facing the public again, now wont we?" She just, really wanted to get out of there before they started discussing what to do with gordon. Because, yea, not up for that today, thanks.
Kurt was not to keen on the ieda of relying on Rachel for the whole thing. The girl had been through enough as it is and now they were going to put all this on her shoulders alone? He was not happy about it at all. "You sure we should put all this on just one person?"

"Yes," was all that Lorna said.

"It looks like our only option, if we're not willing to attempt to build our own time portal." Warren kept casting somewhat worried glances at Logan, who looked as if he were going to *snikt* the table in front of him.

"While I know we all want to get them back a quick as possible, we have to make sure we do this safely. Which sometimes means taking a bit more time. So we'll explore Rachel as our first option, if that doesn't work," Hank shook his head once, "we'll move on to plan B."
Standing up, Lorna ran a hand through her hair, "Hank, if there's a disruptance in the magnetic fields anytime during the time travel..." She left the next part to people's imagination.

He nodded to Lorna, "I know."

"I don't know if I could control that big a disruption," her voice was considerably lower.

"Vhat if Rachel can't handle it though? Vhat is she gives out in ze middle of the trip? She could be just as easily hurt as Lorna can time traveling in a machine." He sighed. "Maybe if ve only have a few of us go, it vill make our odds better of everyone making it back safe, ja?"

"I won't be the only one hurt if there's such a huge disturbance, Kurt," Lorna told him. "Rachel has travelled through time before, and I'm sure she can do it again. If not, then... We'll have to rely on the machine."

"We have our two courses of action, then," Ororo stood from her seat. "We'll hold another meeting tomorrow, or when Rachel is ready..." Her arms crossed her chest. "Iff there's anything else?" She looked around the room.
There was no response. :O

TJ shook her head defeatedly. She was out of ideas.

Kurt just shook his head.

"Then the meeting is ajourned," she nodded with a quirk of her brow.

Fuzzy Blue Brooding (Kurt)

TJ bit her lip, crouching on the banister of the balcony outside her room as the sound from the radio drifted outwards. By now, she'd heard about Emma, Jean, Sean and the others being sucked in to the rift created by the young boy Gordon. She didn't have a clue as to what to do- with the Exiles, she'd just been along for the ride and asskicking- Blink had always been the one who knew what to do. She was brawn, not brains when it came to interdimensional hero-work.

Now, she was feeling useless. There was no ass to kick- the culprit here had been an innocent young boy with limited control over his powers. What could she do? She hated this feeling- people who'd helped her, who she cared about, were adrift in the timestream (something she had experience with) and there was nothing she could do but sit and wait while the other X-Men figured this out.

She sighed "this bites" she said to no one in particular. She didn't realize there was a pair of familiar ears nearby to hear her complain.

((Kurt))

Meanwhile, back at the park - Sep day 6 ( open to all others )

Betsy had told Xi'an to go on back to the mansion, having called for one more vehicle, because the one hummer the was left besides Xi'an's, wouldn't hold the emptied contents of Emma's rented van. So she, most of Emma's class, and some left overs of the younger ones, walked back to the park, which wasn't too far off, sat under a large shaded tree and just, waited.

Gordon hadn't said a peep, pretty much clinging to Betsy, as if letting go would result in the worst kind of punishment. All of the kids were obviously freaked out, which didn't leave Betsy in the best position. She had hard enough time comforting Gordon, what was she supposed to do with the rest of them?

Hakuna Matata, what a wonderful phrase...

Emma held a small paper shopping bag, from which a plush Simba was peeking out. Her other hand supported her back, as it often did nowadays when she was standing, especially when she was wearing high heels, as she was now. "Go on," she said in a voice that was tighter than usual. Two of her students were more concerned with their elaborate African lion masks than they were getting home. "We'll find some great greasy hole of fine American cuisine and stop in the drive-thru."

She was driving a rented van. She would have never let them eat in her car. Two people got to eat in Emma's car, and one of them was Scott.

"Come on. Come on." Her voice was impatient. Tired. A girl with four arms was chattering excitedly with a boy with very thick glasses about the gazelles and the dancing grass. She winced, rubbing the small of her back. Her back had been aching all day, and walking on her trademark high-heels had become nearly impossible. "We can hear the New York Times theatre review later. Yes, Benny, I have no doubt that you have every single syllable of the review memorized."

Moving around the front of the van, she unlocked the driver's side door. Now she had the challenge of climbing into the seat, which, without a waist, wasn't exactly easy.

[Open.]

Narrative - closed or open, matters not.

Finally gathering all the kids, and loading thme into two of the hummers, Xi'an placed three rather large picnic baskets in back, full of lunch time treats. Hands sliding into the pockets of her jeans, she smiled as the volunteers wandered into the garage, clutching their coffee like their lives depended on it. She was used to waking up early, and being bright eyed for everyone elses sake.

Pulling her sweater tight around her, she moved to slid into the drivers seat of the first car, glancing in the rear view to see one of the other adults get into the other. Smiling back at the kids, she looked forward, hit the garage door opener and started the car. Windows rolled down (there was no reason to waste the fresh almost autumn air), they were on their way to the city.

A trip to the park was perfect. For kids and adults alike. The children would get to burn off all of their energy, get some excercise - essentially ware them out for the day. The grown ups get to get out of the house, pretend to be normal for a little bit while they enjoy the outdoors, and people watching. All in all, Xi'an knew they were in for an eventful day. Though, it'd be more eventful than she oculd probably imagine.

But now, Remy sat curled up in the large seat of the luxury, all terrain vehicle, air conditioner blasting, leading him to cuddle under his trench for warmth. It was about time he slept, anyway. He'd probably been up more than 24 hours.

ROGUE! Reaching over to turn down the intensity of the air conditioning, Rogue's green eyes only strayed from the road to check the rear- and side-mirrors, not really stealing looks at her sleeping boyfriend all that much. The radio was on, though low in volume so Remy could sleep well, and Rogue was humming along to the tunes.

REMY! Remy rustled in his seat a bit when the air calmed, "Mmm, it's hot," he turned over to face her, still curled up, sunk into his seat.

ROGUE! "You were just shiverin'," she stated calmly, watching as a car pass them on the lonely road.

REMY! 'But it's hot now," he pouted, sitting up in his seat. His eyes moved to the bare road, broken trees, the empty town below, and a frown set in.

ROGUE! "Y'all can change it yourself," she turned her eyes to him, frown on her lips when she saw his. "You should sleep. We ain't there yet."

REMY! "I jus'slept," he glanced to the clock, "two hours. M'fine. We almost there."

ROGUE! "Y'need more sleep than that f'all the time ya were awake," she passed a car that was going slow, eyes always on the road.

REMY! "I cain't," he watched the slow car as they passed it. "I wanna see when we get into th'city."

ROGUE! "Fine," she wouldn't argue anymore; both of them were too tired and grumpy.

REMY! He continued to frown, sitting deep in his chair, he glanced back over to her, head rolling, "We go through Mississippi already?"

ROGUE! She cleared her throat a bit, hand running through her hair as she nodded. "Mmhm. Not too long ago."

REMY! He watched her a moment, "Y'awright?"

ROGUE! "M'fine," she nodded again, flashing him a smile when she glanced over. "Made a detour through Caldecott County."

REMY! "Y'didn't wake me up?"

ROGUE! "There was nothin' left," she shrugged.

REMY! "We coulda stopped, babette."

ROGUE! "I didn't wanna stop," she was watching the road now, dropping a hand to scratch her thigh.

REMY! He broght a semi-gloved hand up to stoke her hair, finger on her cheek before he sat forward, and watched the road pass.

ROGUE! Rogue leaned into his hand, eyes shutting only momentarily. "All that was left was wood an' foundations. Poppa an' aunt Carrie prolly got away."

REMY! A little nod. He'd hoped that everyone had gotten out of New Orleans, too. Jean-Luc, and Henri. Everyone else. He hadn't talked to them in so long - what a time to call.

ROGUE! And Bella, too? Rogue reached over and turned the volume of the radio up, arm happy to stretch out. "You still warm, sug?"

REMY! Even Bella. "A lil," he reached for the knob and turned up just a lil. He looked back out of the window, the highway now littered with garbage, and debris, frown deepening as he looked ahead, eyes just a bit wide.

ROGUE! "We almost there?" She asked, not really knowing the roads very well.

REMY! "Stop th'car," was all he said.

ROGUE! Rogue looked to him before checking the mirror, signalling, and pulled over to the side of the road. "What?"

REMY! He opened the door, turning his head at the smell of city wide mildew. "We here," he pointed forward, "that ain't road, it's water."

ROGUE! Rogue shut off the car and turned to look at the water. "Oh," was all she said.

REMY! Remy got out, closed the door and just stood, looking over the slowly drying ruins of his only home. "I cain't even tell where we are. Ain't no signs, nothin' looks familiar."

ROGUE! She got out quickly after him, crossing her arms as she leaned back on the car's front bumper. She didn't say anything, just, looked.

REMY! He climbed up on to the side of expresseay divider, and hopped to the other side. Walking to the other side, he leaned on the shoulder, then hopped over, and to the soaked ground, out of sight.

ROGUE! "Remy?!" She had watched him wander over, but now that he was out of sight, she got worried. Immediately, flames surrounded her and she lifted up into the air, following after him from the sky.

REMY! There was only a lil splash, he was now thigh high in filthy water. He looked up when he saw her pass over head, "M'right here." He kept walking, quarter staff drawn as he pushed things he'd rather not seen to the side.

ROGUE! Rogue dropped down so that she was floating just above the water, "What're ya lookin' for, Remy?"

REMY! He glanced back up at her before he kept walking forward, wading through. He didn't know what he was looking for.

ROGUE! Looking around a bit more, Rogue spotted a body in the water not so far off. She shut her eyes for a moment before hurrying after Remy. "I can carry y'all," she's not comfortable with you in the water.

REMY! "Y'see any signs anywhere?" he ignored the offer. He was sure they'd just come off the crecent city connection. "Lookin' f'st. charles avenue."

ROGUE! "Just a sec," she rose up a bit, looking either way before she spotted a sign. "Remy!" She pointed to their right, "I think it's over there."

REMY! he looked up and over to where she'd pointed, and started toward, water about waist high now.

ROGUE! "Remy. Let me help you," she dropped back down to his level. "The water's makin' me nervous."

REMY! "Help me what?" he asked, looking to her at his side, still forwning. Now, he was only frowning so hard to keep himself from crying.

ROGUE! "I don't want you strugglin' through that dangerous water when I can carry you just as easy... Even easier."

REMY! "Y'gon'keep botherin' me until I agree?"

ROGUE! "Yes," she nodded, holding out a hand.

REMY! He sighed, reaching up, looking away as more floated past. "Fine."

ROGUE! She grabbed his hand and hauled him up into her arms, wrapping them tight under his armpits. "Thanks..."

REMY! He was silent while she carried him. Any other time, he'd be glad to be in this position, not today.

ROGUE! "Where d'you wanna go, sug?" She asked quietly, rearranging her arms as the fires around her grew to support Remy's weight.

REMY! He nodded forward, "That roof over there. The flat black one." it looked familiar.

ROGUE! "Okay," she got them there in about ten seconds, setting Remy down before stepping on the roof herself. "Ya know this place?"

REMY! He quickly moved to the side, looking over the edge, then the other side, to do the same. "Think it's th'guild." He knealed down and started charging the roof, then standing and jogging to the side waiting for it to blow.

ROGUE! Rogue quickly followed him, not really wanting to get evilly blown up by her boyfriend, and waited along with him. A hand raised in a sense of protection.

REMY! KERBAM! After the dust cleared, he went back over, and looked down into the hole. "Ain't no one down there," he hopped down, the water had receeded, but the floor was extra rickety.

ROGUE! Followfollowfollow went Rogue, cushioning the drop with her powers. Lead the way, sweety.

REMY! He looked around, stood at a wall and smirked, pointing to the pictures with the end of his staff. "Y'a'ways said y'wanted t'see me when I was lil."

ROGUE! At his smirk, Rogue smiled and creaked her way over to the pictures. She picked up one of them and just looked at it for a while. Finally, she said, "Y'all were cute... Is that Belladonna?" The blonde in the picture.

REMY! He nodded before moving on, "Henri on th'other side o'me." He looked around the corner to the stairs, but there was water half way up. He sighed heavily and came back up into the room and just sat.

ROGUE! Rogue set the picture down when Remy sat, walking over and sitting beside him. She sighed a bit, leaning forward with her arms on her knees.

REMY! "Cain't get downstairs," he said, looking at her, knees pulling up to his chest as his chin rest between them. "Iunno where they at," his lip totally might be wibbling right about now.

ROGUE! Turning to him, Rogue smiled reassuringly and let an arm slip around his lower back, hand taking its place resting on his hip. She didn't want to say anything, in case he took it wrong, or something. She wasn't known for her way with words.

REMY! He leaned into her, sniffing hard as he settled. "Iunno where they at. Iunno what I'm s'posed t'do. I ain't even s'posed t'be here."

ROGUE! She rubbed her hand up and down his side lightly, head dipping to the side to lean against his. Not really knowing what to say, she decided on, "...I'm sorry, sug."

REMY! His hand came up to rub at his face, scratching the days old stubble, "What am I doin' here?"

ROGUE! "Yer home, Remy. You're checkin' t'see what happened," she reached for his free hand with her own, fingers wrapping tight around it.

REMY! "I ain't supposed t'be here, Rogue. If I hadn't done what I did all them years back, I'd been down here, with them. I'd know where they was at, I'd be with them."

ROGUE! She squeezed his hand, "I'm glad that you did what you did, then." Because ;_; Remy.

REMY! "Everythin's gone, chere," he turned some, head tucked in her neck, as he just, really, started to cry. "Tout. Ma famile. Tout le monde."

ROGUE! Chewing at her lower lip so she didn't burst out crying with him, Rogue got her arms all the way around Remy and held him to her. "...I'm still here," she shut her eyes, hand running up and down his back.

REMY! He kissed her neck, sniffing again, sobs softening and he clung. "Je ne veux pas vous perdre."

ROGUE! Rogue doesn't understand french, honey. She buried a hand in his hair and asked softly, "English, sugah?"

REMY! He couldn't think striaght. Give him a break, "Iunever wanna lose you, Anna," he sat up so that his glassy red on black could meet her green.

ROGUE! "You won't," she promised, running her hand through his hair. "I promise. I won't ever leave you."

REMY! Good, because we don't want Remy freaking out, okay? "Je t'aime, Anna," he said quietly. "Je vous amerai a toujours." He settled into her boobs <.<, "forever." He said, definately.

ROGUE! Rogue would have rolled her eyes at the boob settling, but she was feeling bad for him. "I love you, too, Remy. With all my heart."

REMY! They were there, and he was sleepy. Built in pillows. "M'sorry f'everythin' I ever put you through."

ROGUE! "Don't be," she rubbed a hand up and down his back, pressing her
lips to his forehead. "It led us here. I wouldn't trade it."

REMY! His arms fell around her waist, squeezing, her close to him. "I hope they's safe."

ROGUE! "Me too, sweety," she nodded, rearranging her arms. "Me too."

REMY! He just lay there for a while, composing himself, and being comfortable. Before, "I wonder how much trouble we in."

ROGUE! "I don't care so long as you're okay," she said with a smile evident
in her voice.

REMY! "M'fine," he nodded into her. "Or I'll be fine. One er th'other."

ROGUE! "I know, sugah," she leaned away, wanting to look at him. "You'll be okay."

REMY! "Maybe we should go back to th'hummer."

ROGUE! "Awright," she nodded, taking his hand into hers. "I'll carry y'all."

REMY! Remy wasn't even gonna fight it this time. there was no other way
to get down. So he just stood, and assumed the position.

ROGUE! Rogue stood and took hold of him, flames rising around them before she took to the air and headed back for the hummer.

REMY! Touching down back on the express way, he took another look back. After a moment, he moved to the back of the truck, "I'ma ride m'bike for a lil bit, chere. You go on and drive. Unless you want me t'drive so you can rest a bit?"

ROGUE! "No, um, I'll drive. You can take yer bike," she followed him back to the car. "I'm not tired."

REMY! He wasn't going to argue, because, he really just needed to ride. Unhitching the bike from the back of the hummer, he looked back at the road, "We on th'wrong side," he made a faaace.

ROGUE! "That's what I'm here for, huh?" She made a face right back before bending beside the motorcycle and picking it up with one arm. Superstrength comes in handy, eh? She brought it to the other side with help from her flying, and set it down before going to get the hummer.

REMY! He sort of grinned a tthe gawkers, hopping over the median. That's my gurlfreend yall. "Merci, chere." He straddled the bike, and waited for her.

ROGUE! So much strength from such a small form. Rogue grabbed the hummer with both hands, lifted it high above her head and flew to the other side, dropping it carefully. "Anytime, sug."

REMY! Hawt. Once she was situated, he pulled his trench up a bit so that it wouldn't get caught in the wheel, eventually, probably, killing him. Because that would be bad. Anyway. Starting the sexiful Harley, he glanced back at her before he took off north on the high way. Time to go "home".

ROGUE! Rogue climbed into the hummer, took one look back at the nearly sunken city, and then started behind Remy. With an outstretched arm, she turned the radio full blast, shutting out her thoughts.

WHO; KURT! & BETTS!
WHAT; Kurts home. He gets a perty welcome wagon :D
WHEN; Moday, September day 6, early morning.
WHERE; Courtyard.

BETTS! Early morning before a field trip. Great. Really. Elisabeth was neither awake, or enthusiastic. At least she was dressed and looking presentable. Cup of coffee held tightly in her hand, she smoothed her jeans before sitting on a bench in the courtyard, waiting for it to be time to leave. A glance at her watch, and a sip of her sin had her sighing, "Why do I agree to these things?"

KURT! Kurt had arrived back at Xavier's late last night, for he had been spending the past few months over in Germany. After the whole situation with Mojo... he felt like he needed to take a break and let reality sink back in. Not to mention it had been a whlie since he saw his mom and his friends at the circus. Despite how late Kurt arrived back, he had found himself waking up rather early and in the mood to go for a walk outside. He had yet to notify anyone that he was back, but he would do later on and besides, he knew he was bound to run into someone. He had strolled upon the courtyard when he saw the familar form of Betsy and grinning, he made his way over to stand behind her and gently tapped her on the shoulder but not saying a word just yet.

BETTS! Her head snapped up quickly at the tap - she was getting lazy with those 1337 ninja skillz. She smiled tiredly when she saw the poker. "Good morning Kurt," a slight yawn as she turned back front. "I hadn't realized you'd returned."

KURT! He smiled and stepping to the side he sat down next to her. "Vell, that is because I got in late last night...and have yet to really make my prescence known." He quirked a slender brow as she yawned and took in her appearance. She really didn't look like she had a good night at all. "You look tired... why aren't you in bed resting?"

BETTS! "Hmm? Oh, Xi'an's taking the kids to Central Park today - I volunteered to help. We're leaving in about," she glanced at her watch again, "an hour. Another cup of this, and I should be fine." She smiled, "How was your trip?"

KURT! Kurt chuckled, for he knew how tiring it could be taking the kids out on a field trip. They were fun and he enjoyed being with them... but did they ever wear you out. "Vell, I vish you ze best of luck with that and hope you guys have fun. Vhile you are doing that, I vill probably be unpacking and getting settled in." He brought his hands over his head as he stretched and let out a tired but content sigh. "It vas good... ze circus is still going vell and I ran into some old friends, but Margali vasn't around. They said she had some business to take care of. It was nice though, thanks. How have things been here?"

BETTS! "Insane. Per usual," a smirk. "A bit after you left, we took in a young mutant with time manipulating abilities. Emma's having Scott's child. Alex has decided that he actually wants to marry Lorna, Warren's returned," to me, "and, oh, I think that's about it." Same ole same ole.

KURT! Kurt's head did a double take. "Vow...I had no idea Emma vas expecting... I mean, that's great news! If you don't mind me asking... how did Rachel do when she heard the news?" He was going to ask about Warren next, for the last thing he knew.... Warren and Paige were pretty heavy, so he was curious to see how things went between Betsy and Warren. There was no way around it though, he had really missed a lot in just the short amount of time he was gone.

BETTS! "She's...getting over it. Slowly." A nod. "Alex is doing a good job of distracting her, but you can't blame her for the reaction. They're supposedly getting married, as well. I think that has her more upset than anything."

KURT! Kurt shook his head. "No you can't, ze poor liebschen... " In a way, he was and has always been a bit annoyed with the whole idea of Scott and Emma dating. It happened so soon after Jean's death... and the way the two of them were constantly showing affection, he couldn't help but wish they would have some respect for Rachel and tone things down. "Have Emma and Scott toned things down at all or are they still acting ze same vay around each other?"

BETTS! "No, not even in front of Jean - OH! That's what I forgot," silly her. "Jean's back. Again. How? Not to sure on that one, but I'll get back to you once we've figured that out."

KURT! "She is vhat?!" Now that shocked Kurt and it was evident by the way he almost lost his balance. A very puzzled experssion crossed his features as he regained his composure and began to use one of his hands to rub at the temples of his head. "Vow... I honestly didn't think it vould be possible... I mean that's great news but I can only imagine how much drama it has caused..." Perhaps he should have stayed in Germany a few months longer?

BETTS! Perhaps. But what fun would that have been? "Oh, you know Jean. Too good to stay dead," a shrug and another sip. "I doubt any of us thought it possible. But the strangest things do happen to us X-Men, do that not?" She herself was autopsied. Crazy stuff, really. Betts reached up to give his furry cheek a rub, "But it's all for the better, right?"

KURT! He couldn't help but laugh at her comment about Jean. "Isn't that ze truth, and yes... much stranger stuff has happened to us." His father was a mutant from the bibical times and he had over twenty brothers... grant it only two survived, but still... strange stuff really did happen to them. He smiled as she rubbed his cheek and felt himself calm down from his shock. "Ja, at least I hope so. How is TJ doing.... has she been fitting in vell with everyone?"

BETTS! "Talia's doing just fine. The boy I mentioned, Gordon?" She explained, "While I'm legally responsible for him, she's become a bit of a mentor. She enjoys it from what I can tell. Which is understandable, because he's such a darling."

KURT! He smiled, glad to hear that she was doing well. It was funny really, for even though TJ wasn't his daughter in this reality, he had already started to care for in such a short time that he almost felt like she was his daughter. At least he now knew how Jean and Scott must have felt when Nate and Rachel showed up for the first time. "That is great news and I'll probably find out more vhen I catch up to her later... but do you mind telling me about this boy Gordon? You've mentioned him twice now."

BETTS! "Oh, of course," she turned some on the bench so that she was facing him a bit more. "Like I said before, he's able to manipulate time. When his powers manifested, he sent the plane he was on into the time stream, and it popped up back in our present time a few months ago." A few gestures, she paused to finish her coffee. "We took him in, as he had no where else to go. He's been made my ward, and we're all working to help him control his powers - just a few days ago we did a small trial that just, went completely wrong," she thought back, pulling her organized mess of hair back from her face. "Like I said, it's been crazy here."

KURT! He let his tail slide around her waist in a friendly gesture as he listened to her explain about the young boy. "So... vhat exactly are you doing to try and control them?" The kid sounded really interesting and he wanted to meet him. Perhaps there was something even he could do to help out?

BETTS! "First and foremost, learning how he triggers them," Betsy rubbed a tthe bridge of her nose, "and then just, trying to see what he can do with them. Pausing pockets of time seems doable. But he can also open them, too. In our last session, he opened one, and it got rather large, and just, started sucking everything in. He eventually got it to close, but it took so much energy out of him - knocked him right out."

KURT! "Ze poor kid... I can't even begin to imagine vhat it must be like to have such a ability." He also could only imagine how powerful the kid must be and how much strain it puts on him. "I take it he is kept in a observation room... or can he actually come out and interact with ze other children?" He hoped for the latter, but at the same time... if the kid had such powers and no idea how to control them... it probably wouldn't be wise to have him mingling with the others.

BETTS! "Oh no, he's about with the children. He's only eight, he needs the social interaction," and didn't she know it. Growing up with two companions and several imaginary friends will teach you a thing or two about the need for some social life. "He's going out on the trip today, as a matter of fact," which was probably the only reason Betsy was going at all.

KURT! He grinned. "That is great for I agree, interaction is ze best... just I remember a few times in ze past vhere ve had to keep mutants in there for a long time. Then again they had never been kids either now that I think about it." He slowly nodded his head. "Vell, I guess I vill have to meet him vhen he comes back then, ja? You all have a big day planned?"

BETTS! "Mmmhmm," she smiled wide, eyes closing to the early morning, almost autumn breeze. "The young ones will be going to the park, while Emma takes one of her classes to see the Lion King. "

KURT! He chuckled. "Ah yes, The Lion King... I vouldn't exactly call it a classic, but I'm sure ze kids vill enjoy it greatly. It has such a good moral lesson too." He took in a deep breath of fresh air, and was always amazed at how great it made him feel. It really felt good to be back and he couldn't wait to start catching up with everyone. He finally stood up and stretched once more. "I think I am going to go find something to eat. I'm feeling rather hungry and I haven't had anything to eat in over 24 hours."

BETTS! Betsy pulled her heels up onto the bench, arm wrapping around her knees as she did, "Alright," she smiled. "Wouldn't want you wasting away. I'll see you when we return?"

KURT! He chuckled before giving her a charming grin. "Of course. Have I ever been one to not make sure I see all ze beautiful vomen in my life at least twice a day?" He took her hand into his and kissed the top of it before letting go. "Auf Wiedersehen für jetzt frauline"

BETTS! She just grinned, "Ever the charmer," what a ladies man. "Have a good morning, Kurt."

KURT! With another grin, he nodded his head before making his way back towards the mansion, curious to see who else is up and about and hopefully to find some decent food.

WHO:Jean and Logan
WHAT: A little light smut
WHEN: An afternoon of some kind
WHERE: The Danger Room and then the Men's Locker Room

Logan: Women and men run past Logan, some screaming, some merely fleeing for their lives. A Brood drools nastily as it overturns two cars, an action which only makes Logan grin. *snick* *snick* Claws on both hands come out, and he sidesteps a swipe from a paw, seeing that there was not one Brood, but several. Growling, he jumped onto the car, and was a blur of yellow as he vaulted onto its back.

Jean: Another one heads for Logan's back, but his woman's there, even if he probably could've handled it himself. One hand pressed firmly to her temple, Jean made a gesture with her other hand, and the Brood was sent flying into a neon sign nearby. One down, twenty million to go.

Logan: "Good girl," Logan growled as he beheaded the squealing Brood. Then he turned and leapt upon the back of another, making mincemeat of its back. However, it wasn't willing to go quietly in the night. It threw Logan off of its back and into a shop window with a mighty *crash*, leaving a Logan-sized hole in the plate glass.

Jean: Oh, that one was dead. Impaled on something dull. Best way to go, that. "You're loosing your touch," she called out teasingly. Honestly, Logan, get taken down that easily...

Logan: There's a flying yellow thing that *SPRINGS* like a cat out of the coffee shop and onto the head of the Brood that threw him, and it does several swipes, removing the creature of most of its skin before its throat is slit.

Jean: Apparently she was mistaken. But she's grinning while tossing other Brood members around, getting rid of a bit of the competition.

Logan: Logan ends up on the top of a Hummer and surfing down the street before he leaps on another Brood. This one is quickly dispatched, though he has to duck quickly to miss a Brood flying through the air, thanks to Jean's telekenesis.

Jean: Whoops. "Sorry," she called out. How many of these things were there?

Logan: Not that many more. As Logan jumped away from one, hit the ground, and rolled a few feet, the Danger Room intoned, "Program complete." The city streets vanished, as did the smoking Brood corpses. "That was fun," Logan said as he bounded to his feet. "Whatcha think, darlin?"

Jean: "Wonderful," she sighed, wiping a bit of sweat from her forehead. "Gave me a bit of a scare when you went flying like that." She planned to rub it in.

Logan: "I'm a big boy. I can get thrown around." Logan brushed his hands off and walked across the room toward Jean. "Remember the time I got m'face burned off? That was fun."

Jean: Her nose wrinkled at the memory. "That was awful." Not everyone has a strong stomach like you, Wolvie.

Logan: A soft nuzzle to her cheek. Logan was still wearing his mask and gloves and smelled of sweat, but didn't have bad body odor per se. "Come take a shower with me," he said in a husky voice.

Jean: No, he just smelled like Logan. She grineed. "Don't know. I'm not exactly supposed to be in there." And of course, Jean plays by the rules all the time.

Logan: "Everyone's in class except us. Ain't no one gonna see." He touched her hair. Smoothed his hands down her emerald costume. "Course, we could also take a shower in m'room."

Jean: "I don't think I can wait that long," she chuckled, hands trailing down his chest as she leaned in for a kiss. He was intoxicating, really.

Logan: And Logan responded with a gentle nip of his teeth against her lower lip and a broad grin. Taking her gloved hands in his, he led her toward the locker room.

Jean: She glanced around as they entered. Just as she remembered it..er...nothing. "So this is the men's locker room," she grinned, kissing down his neck.

Logan: Logan dragged Jean by the hands and into his locker bank. Laughing, he licked the side of her neck, then her jaw, and then worked on shedding his uniform. He wore nothing but a jock strap underneath, of course. There wasn't room for much.

Jean: Probably more than Jean wore. The costumes didn't exactly lend themselves to wearing bras. And, while she could just rearrange some molecules, to undress herself, where would the fun in that be? So, she was fumbling for the hidden zipper, now.

Logan: Which Logan was happy to unzip for her. From chest to paradise. Grinning, he grabbed two towels, and shedded his little bananna hammock. That went in the laundry basket. And it was shower time.

Jean: Jean's clothes were left in a heap on the floor. To be collected on her way out. Taking Logan's hand, she backed into the shower, adjusting the temperature of the water with her tk.

Logan: Nice and warm, and the stall was just enough privacy. Logan draped his arm around Jean's waist. Led her to the wall. Covered her neck with gentle kisses.

Jean: What did it matter if the stall gave them privacy? Everyone else was at class. Right, Logan? Her arms hooked around his neck, while her head bent, mouth searching out his ear.

Logan: Logan groaned quietly, driving Jean against the wall, letting her do what she would to his ear, to his body. His hands found her shoulders, rubbing them, touching them, stroking down to her arms.

Jean: She moaned against his skin, licking her way down his jawline. She had some ideas here.

Logan: Logan was feeling...passive today. After killing imaginary Brood, he just felt like draping his arms around Jean's waist and giving her access to his neck.

Jean: Fascinating. The Wolverine being submissive? A sharp nip on the side of his neck, and then she licked the spot better. There probably wouldn't be any washing going on tonight, would there?

Logan: A low, sultry purr. Against her thigh, evidence of his interest was apparent, and beginning to grow. His hands travelled to her bottom, cupping the cheeks, squeezing them.

Jean: She inhaled deeply against his neck, breathing in those odors that were Logan, even to those without super-sensitive smelling. "Mmm..."

Logan: "Mmm..." The water was warm, and Logan could smell Jean in heat, the smell that drove him mad, the animal part of him that recognized his mate and wanted to mate with her. He leaned against her, pressing her body against the tile wall. "Go on," he purred.

Jean: She pushed herself up against the wall, legs hooking themselves around his waist while she continued exploring with her mouth. Next on the list of stops was the collarbone.

Logan: "Mmmm." Logan rubbed himself against her, but he didn't enter her. Not yet. They ground together, skin against slippery skin, with Jean pressed against the wall.

Jean: Her mouth worked its way back up to his mouth, tongue sliding along his lips as she tightened her grip around his neck. Slipping out of his arms was not in the cards.

Logan: "Got plans?" He said in a husky voice between kisses. Again, he rubbed. Held her securely. Waited.

Jean: "Me?" She questioned innocently. "I believe this was your idea." Her hips moved against his.

Logan: "Then let's do it." He loosened an arm to guide himself into her. Warm. Welcoming. Slick. Oh, she felt good. He sighed into her neck.

Jean: She moaned, the sounds vibrating off the tile. Her head leaned back for a moment, then forward again, deeply kissing Logan as her hips started to move.

Logan: The steam billowed around them as Logan began to move with her, thrusting, the rather ludercrous sound of skin slapping together as they moved. Yet it felt lovely, familiar, and comforting.

Jean: "Nngh," she sighed, nibbling on his lower lip. It was comforting....having that someone around.

Logan: "So good," Logan sighed, his voice breathy and deep as he built up a faster and faster rhythm. "Love you." His teeth grazed her chin.

Jean: "Love you, too," she answered, eyes meeting his as she matched his rhythm.

Logan: The pulses began, and Logan held onto Jean with one arm as he began to rub one of her rosy nipples with the other. He wanted her to enjoy this, and he wanted to watch those green eyes of hers as he did.

Jean: The green eyes that were half closed as the sensations coursed through her body, heading straight towards her spine. "Logan," she sighed, back arching.

Logan: "Oh, Jeannie. Jeannie. My Jeannie," he babbled as he continued to rub that nipple, even as he began to spurt deep inside of her, moaning against her cheek. The world fell into place for all of two seconds.

Jean: Spurred on by his ministrations, her muscles began to spasm around him, fingernails digging lightly into his back. "Gods," she moaned.

Logan: "Oh, yeah..." Logan groaned, enjoying Jean's orgasm almost more than he had liked his own. He held her tightly against the wall, his legs strong, as the clouds around his brain began to diminish.

Jean: She took great lungfuls of air, cheeks flushed red as her fingers threaded through his hair. "Logan..."

Logan: "Yeah?" A small cuddle, nose against her cheek. He was smiling.

Jean: "You," she kissed his cheek. "Were wonderful."

Logan: "Yeah. Watch out. It'll get to my head." Logan made sure Jean was steady on her feet before gently easing out of her and stepping back under the spray.

Jean: Of course it wouldn't. She followed him under the spray, letting it soak her hair. "Think I should be going now?" Before somebody who didn't have class walked in?

Logan: "Better scoot into the ladies' room." Logan patted her on the bum, and reached for the shampoo. "I'll see you when we finish."

Jean: She nodded, bending down for her uniform, and givi
